industrialization and privatization had increased the responsibility of the
Dock Complex to respond quickly to market changes and user-requirements, as
also to manage operations with professional finesse to provide more efficient,
cost-effective and user-oriented services to the trade. Aware of our-future
challenges, the Dock Complex had embarked upon a massive capacity augmentation
and modernization drive.
