Estate Facility

Commanding 6367 acres of prime land, the Dock Complex takes care of the land needs of entrepreneurs and industrial houses. The port has ample land for allotment to Port based and port related industries.

Computerisation

To serve users better, the dock system has computerized all commercial operations and the entire project has been commissioned. WAN and LAN covering 17 sq. miles has already been completed. VSAT has been installed with E-Mail facilities to all offices. Application Software has been developed and implemented. High Performance Cluster System, Disaster Recovery System & Automatic Backup are some highlights of the online system.

Power Distribution

HDC receives H.T. power supply from 132 KV substation of W.B.S.E.B. and having extensive H.T. power distribution networks for Port Operations including standby D.G. sets for operation of Lock Gates of the impounded dock system.
